Child Policy: Children must be at least 6 years old to do the activities. Only in the case that the child does not present a valid official ID, the price entrance will depend on his height. Children: From 3.2 ft (1 m) to 4.5 ft (1.40 m). Children over 4.5 ft (1.40 m) but under 12 years of age, must present an ID to verify their age. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
Inside the archaeological site, the use of a video camera requires an extra tax not included in the tour price.
The use of drones is prohibited in the archeological site.
Lockers and lifejackets at the cenote Ik Kil are not included.
Reservations canceled more than 2 days before the booking date is subject to a 10% charge for administrative fees.
Reservations canceled less than 48 hours before the booking date and/or no-shows are nonrefundable.
Based on the cancellation request date, the remaining amount will be credited back into the XSN E-Wallet or credited back into the payment method used.

The ruins were great, but everything else was a disaster!We booked this tour because my girlfriend had never been and wanted to visit the historic site.We booked the plus package and as promised, transportation was sent an picked us up from our hotel. The email that we received said someone would be there are 8:10 to pick us up, but then we received a text through WhatsApp saying it would be at 7:50. Then they didn't show up until 8:10. While this is not overly important, this type of communication issue sets the tone for the whole trip.First, we were placed on a full bus and told that the trip would take between 2 and 2.5 hours. This matched what the website said so we were ok with it. Five minutes before the bus left, my girlfriend and I were called off the bus and placed on a nearly empty bus. Without informing us, this new bus stopped and picked up at another 6-8 locations diverting all the way to Tulum before even heading towards Chichen Itza. This added 2 hours, turning our acceptable 2.5 hour drive into a 4.5 hour drive...Next, we changed out itinerary to go to the Cenote first, this was a good choice because there was no one there and it made the experience much more enjoyable. We even had about 10 minutes where we got to speak one on one with our guide Hector, who was extremely knowledgeable.This is where things really went off the rails - We then went to a "little town of 200 people and participated in a Mayan cleansing ritual". This is where you are supposed to have your buffet lunch and get to "experience" Mayan culture. Remember, because our itinerary had been changed we were now off schedule and more than 2 hours behind because of all the people that we had picked up.When we arrived at the village the Shaman went through the cleansing ritual and asked my girlfriend and I to participate. When the ritual was over, our guide told us that the Shaman had some words for us and us alone...the words were will you buy this statue for 3000 pesos...I swear, you cannot make this up. When we said no, he tried to make a deal...two statues for the same price...Now, we are hungry, two hours behind schedule, and they sequester us in the gift shop for 30 minutes before taking us to a chocolate store and keeping us in there for another 20 minutes, trying to sell us chocolate and coffee the whole time. Everyone was hungry and ready to eat. When they finally let us to the "buffet" we were given about 30 minutes to eat what we could before being herded back to the bus.Next to Chichen Itza...The ruins were beautiful and a testament to the Mayan culture. An amazing feat of engineering and art that cannot be described in words or pictures alone...but, what can be described is the pure irritation you will experience in fighting off the literally hundreds of vendors that are all selling the same things and blowing jaguar calls nonstop. (One parent let their child buy one and thankfully stopped them from continually blowing it when we got back on the bus)Two hours at the ruins and we were herded back onto the bus to visit a small historic town for 20 minutes. The town was nice, but was ultimately only good for a picture of the church and the park.Now for our 4.5 hour return trip where we were dropped off several blocks from our hotel and had to walk back. By this point we were so frustrated and irritated because we had found out that the bus we were originally on had returned 4 hours earlier being on schedule with no issues...Overall, the trip was miserable and not worth the price or the experience. 100% would not recommend unless you are going straight there and straight back.

It is absolutely beautiful & captivating! (If you do not go on a tour and go on a rented vehicle get ready to be bombarded with vendors) There are many people trying to sell you souvenirs tours and tour guides. On your way to the entrance you will find many people trying to stop you to buy from their tours DON’T just keep heading towards the entrance and pay there which will be two separate fees. You have to pay for parking as well. It is definitely worth it. It was a great time beautiful landscape and just a wonderful experience.

Incredible, wonderful and remarkable. I went in May, I suffered with 40 degrees. I bought the ticket on the spot and didn't wait in line, despite it being full. If you go during this time, prepare yourself with light clothes, a hat, comfortable shoes, lots of water, snacks and sunscreen.

One of the 7 wonders of the world. It was a 4 hour trip each way from Playa del Carmen but it was 100% worth the trip. Remember to haggle with the vendors inside and be willing to walk away from them if you don't like their prices.

Beautiful and unique place! A bit disturbing on the entrance, too many people trying to scam you or sell stuff, but as long as you walk straight past without stopping you will avoid problems. Place itself is amazing. Different aura I think you have to visit this place at least once if you in Mexico. And lastly it is super hot so definitely bring water , sunglasses and don’t forget to put sunscreen. For me it was burning hot even thought I love hot weather and rarely ever burn.

Really fascinating place. A deffo must see if you are visiting the Cancun area. We got a little minibus out there with a guide from the resort. It gets super busy. We arrived about 9am so no major queues. If you go solo you can hire a guide outside the entrance. Need to be super respectful of the Mayan people and culture. What their ancestors achieved is remarkable in terms of astronomy and building structures. Particularly intriguing was the games court where teams would fight to get a rubber ball through a hoop on either side of the concourse. The team leader of the losing team would be sacrificed! As a bonus though, you did get a nice carving of your skull in the stone 😅

Absolutely stunning! A fantastic area surrounding a famous archaeological location. You must visit here when in Mexico and make sure you go with a local guide who can tell you the history of the area and make sure you do not miss any of the stunning features. Also keep an eye out for the iguanas that have made the area their home.

A must see and definitely a place to add to your bucket list. Drove from Cancun and it took about 2 and half hours with little to no traffic for most of the drive. Definitely worth booking a tour when factoring in the price of tolls & gas if you are looking for a more budget friendly option. The toll lines could take up to 15 minutes. Several times just before arriving we were waved our by tour locations that made it seem like we had to get a tour but, luckily from reading all the reviews before we just keep driving. We didn’t get a tour guide and definitely would not say it is mandatory although I did already know a lot about the location and culture before this trip. If you don’t then getting a tour with transportation would definitely be a great option. We parked at a local spot just before the official parking which was about a five minute walk to the park. We bought tickets when we arrived. We went on a week day and arrived a little before noon and waited about 15-20 minutes to get our tickets. We were able to walk the entire park in less than 3 hours. Plenty of options from souvenir vendors all over the park and from the walk in. Overall it was an amazing experience and definitely the best place we went to when visiting the the Yucatán peninsula.
