What Do People Think About Staying At The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino?

We just got back from our vacation, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst resort experience I’ve had in Punta Cana — and this was my sixth time staying at a resort there.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Hard Rock and decided to finally book it to celebrate my son’s graduation and my daughter’s birthday. I was really excited, and maybe my expectations were too high since it’s a 5-star hotel and, well, the Hard Rock — but wow, what a disappointment.

Please don’t fall for the hype like I did. Save your money — there are many other resorts in Punta Cana that offer much better service, food, and entertainment.

Let me break it down:
• The food was awful — especially at the buffet. I expected way more from a resort of this level.
• They advertise a lot of activities and entertainment on their website, but here’s the truth: unless you’re a member, you won’t have access to most of it.
• I went with my young adult kids, hoping they’d have fun and enjoy the entertainment — but the resort was boring. There was barely anything going on unless, again, you’re a member.
• What upset me the most is how they treat you based on your wristband color. If you’re not a member, they treat you like you’re not important, even though you paid good money to be there.

Compared to my previous visits to other resorts in Punta Cana, this was just really disappointing. I absolutely do not recommend Hard Rock Punta Cana and will not be returning.

Pros and Cons... Good time but won't return, not worth the money compared to other resorts...

Pros:
The food was good, tons of options.

Pools were beautiful, also with plenty of options depending on the scene you are going for (party v. relax).

We never had any trouble finding a lounge chair on the beach or at the pools - also during our time, never waited more than a couple of minutes on any line.

The water park was a blast!

Loved the escape room - but keep in mind it's $45pp- in fact, keep in mind that other than the water park, all the teen/kidish activities are not included, so you can easily spend hundreds of extra dollars and these.

The staff were really great, friendly and fast with service.

Cons:
This place feels manufactured/commercial - rather than that feeling of "paradise" you want when you're going to this kind of destination. It until you go down to the beach, it completely lacks that wonder and awe feeling of other resorts.

The hotel lobby is supposed to be your first feeling of paradise and it just feels like a regular (large) hotel.

There is one large building where many of the restaurants are, basically all of the non pool activities, shopping, etc. all are It gets crazy busy at night and feels like you're walking thru a busy casino in Vegas rather than a tropical getaway (I love Vegas, but I don't want a tropical resort to feel that way).

For a Hard Rock, there was hardly any music! There were tribute bands/performances on some nights, and one other live band one night, and that was it. There definitely seemed to be a lack of what we expected for entertainment.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed. Wonderful pools and service varied with each restaurant. Some wonderful service some not so great. Food is good for Punta Cana. If you are a beach person is nice to sit and watch the waves but the surf is rough and usually red flagged. But no worries there are 10 pools available. The "Vacation club" push is apparent but didn't seem to push too much, but they knew I was a travel agent.

I bought a packaged deal that included Flight, transportation to and from resort and airport, all inclusive. Great location, friendly staff, beach access, great pools and show activities. Many of the restaurants had buffet style food choices, but the food carts/trucks throughout hotel were great. We stayed in a room closer to the beach, but the shuttles stopped by about every 10 minutes and took us to the lobby or other areas of resort. The resort is big, but it is walkable. Shout out to Maite and Stephanie bartenders in the guitar pool bar. They were very attentive and friendly. Moises driving the shuttles around the hotel was always happy and friendly. He made the rides around the property feel like I was really on a vacation. Thanks.

This resort was a great pick for my family (spouse, 17 y/o, and 8 y/o). The all-inclusive amenities were above average. There were some paid amenities (bowling, laser tag, mini golf, arcade) but the fee was nominal, in my opinion ($10 per person). You can tell the property is older but it has been kept really well. For the most part the staff were very friendly and helpful. My 8 y/o LOVED the kids club, which was a great amenity for when my husband and I wanted to go to the casino.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana – Honest Review

I recently stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and overall had a great time. This resort is really nice and incredibly big—so big that a trolley is available to get around, which definitely comes in handy on days when you just don’t feel like walking. You can walk, but be ready for long distances!

Highlights:
• Water Park & Pools: The water park was super fun, and the resort boasts 10+ pools, so there’s always space to relax. They also host daily poolside events, including an amazing foam party at the central pool that was a highlight.

• Entertainment: There’s always something going on—from nighttime shows to daytime activities, which keeps the energy up and the resort lively.
• Amenities: There’s an arcade, laser tag, bowling, and even a liquor store on the property. The lobby bars also serve decent liquor, and I appreciated that they didn’t hassle you about staying in the pool past 6pm like other resorts.
• Restaurants: The on-site restaurants are great, hibachi, Italian especially the sandwich shop by the casino—a must-try.
• Beach: Clean and beautiful—perfect for relaxing.

Cons:
• The buffet food doesn’t vary much between lunch and dinner—it gets repetitive.
• Bars by pool close at 5pm, which felt way too early for a resort this lively.
• Only two swim-up bars, which seems low for a resort this size.
• Swim-up bar liquor selection is limited—mainly Jack Daniel’s, and if you’re lucky, Don Julio. The main pool has better options like Don Julio Blanco, Patron Silver, and Grand Marnier.
• If you’re not a premium guest, you’re restricted from some pools, restaurants, and top-shelf liquor.

Off-Resort Tips:

If you’re into nightlife with drinks and hookah, check out:
• Drink Point
• Infinity Lounge
• Infinity Terraza
• Empire
• Movie

For great dining off-resort, I recommend:
• Noah
• Mezcalito
• Jellyfish
• SGB

Final Thoughts:

Despite a few downsides, I had a really enjoyable stay, met some great people, and would definitely return to Hard Rock Punta Cana. This is my honest opinion—it’s a resort worth visiting, especially if you’re looking for fun, relaxation, and plenty to do on and off the property.

Our experience was truly unforgettable — we felt so loved, cared for, and welcomed like family!
I want to extend my deepest thanks to our incredible butler Rafael, who went above and beyond for us every single day. A special shoutout to Roberto for crafting the most refreshing poolside drinks, and to Scooby Doo, who was always ready to assist us with anything we needed at the Sun Pool.
We are also so grateful to Elvis for transporting us with such kindness and professionalism, and to Jordane, Guilherme and Rafael (Mama), whose delicious meals made every bite a memorable experience. They all poured so much heart into every dish we enjoyed.
Oscar was always there exactly when we needed fresh towels — such a simple but priceless comfort!
And to our amazing group of waiters — Jaime, Davison, Pablo, Roberto, and Marilu — your attentive and friendly service made our stay even more special.
The entire hotel staff was absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our stay perfect.
We can’t wait to come back again with our family to our next vacation! Thank you all for making our trip truly magical!

My family decided to spend spring break at Hard Rock Cafe, Punta Cana and we were a party of nine. We decided to become members of the exclusive “Legendary Club” at part of the “Hall of Fame” level. One of the top perks we received were having butler service. Our butlers Brayner and Charles were very attentive without being intrusive, and they made us feel very much at home for the entire stay.

We mentioned how our large party wanted to reserve lounge chairs by the main pool and they made sure we had a perfect spot with umbrellas and all!!! They also made last minute reservations for the Mexican restaurant Los Gallos which was amazing!!!!

We look forward to returning back next year and having them as our butlers. You guys were the best!!!! Totally recommend!

We travel annually to HRHPC as Legendary members, our most recent trip in March. Our butlers, Jesus and Jimmy are excellent taking care of anything we request. The staff at the Members (Sun) pool - Scoobie the concierge, Oscar and all the servers are so helpful. There are plenty of choices for food which is average but in most restaurants the servers and hosts are great - Ruth , Karina, Bobadilla, Christian and Jean Carlos at Toro - so friendly in a very busy restaurant. The golf course is convenient and in decent shape and staff friendly. The gym is large with adequate equipment and Hudson the manager is friendly and helpful. It was good to have more comfortable seating at the Sun pool this year. It would be appreciated if the pool was clearly marked for members only - the number of people who have to be told to leave could be easily avoided with some strategically located signs at the towel hut and pool entrances etc. Most guests have no idea it is for members only. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. It’s a great resort if you like walking as it is quite large but if you prefer you can hop a shuttle. The beach is clean and expansive. There is a fun waterpark and areas for kids.

Some minor maintenance isn’t addressed expediently (missing toilet seat in washrooms under 2A, handrail missing in 4B, TVs not working in gym cardio equipment, tub water pressure issues)

The people, the service, the amenities, the comfortable rooms and the beautiful weather will keep us coming back.

We recently returned from a six day vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! The room was very nice. We were located in building 4B and found it was perfectly situated between the main building, pools and beach. Jose Luis Adames was our butler, and was excellent! We travelled with two other families and all of our restaurant, pool, beach, and show requests were met without fail. We were all very satisfied and would request him for any future visits! Breakfast at Isla was definitely the best. Burgers at Stacked and food at many other locations was very good. We felt safe the entire time and were comfortable letting our 12 and 14 year old wander the large property. It was an amazing week and we were quite sad to leave!!

We traveled with 8 families and I don’t think our service could have been better! Og and Muriel, our concierge “butlers” were so attentive and made everything SO easy! Felt like VIPs with their service! Saved us chairs at pool and beach! Got us specific requests to room, reservations for our large group to almost every restaurant there!
We are so grateful for those two!
They even did TikTok’s with the kids!
The beach is clean and gorgeous!!!! The activities for the kids and adults were . My 4 year old loved the kids club! Although I don’t typically let my kids run amok when traveling, it felt very safe and secure to let them go between ice cream and arcade and teen clubs. My 4 year old asked me to go back today lol.
The all inclusive makes things so easy. Clearly catered to families here.

I’d go again.

For those looking for cons: it’s a huge complex, lots of walking. I actually enjoy this to work off all the food and drinks! But some may not enjoy all the walking. You can catch a “tram” golf carts or rent one.

restaurant wise: the steakhouse wasn’t their forte (toro). Get the risotto at the Italian restaurant! So good.

The fridge in the room didnt get cold which was annoying but they filled it every morning.

All of us have been saying how we are already ready to go back!

Very disappointing.
Positives- great pools, nice drinks, food ok but plentiful.
Negatives- as soon as you get there, someone posing to assist you with reservations quickly tries to get you to attend a vacation time share meeting. Hard sales pitch, very negative first impression. We had usd credits that were impossible to use. We got double charged for a number of items. Checkout took an hour and at the end of the day, we overpaid as they double charged us for items and wouldn’t apply credits that they said they were going too. Get everything in writing and check your bill every day. Staff were pleasant but incompetent when dealing with room charges. Finally, this is not an all inclusive. It’s a semi inclusive. Be prepared to pay for most of your activities better yet, don’t go.

14:54 16 Mar 25
BEWARE!!!!
As soon as you enter the front lobby, they have someone there who is your 'personal concierge' but they are only there to get you to come to a breakfast the next day and listen to a sales pitch for a super expensive vacation program called Legendary. They will tell you it will only take 2 hours and you can get two massages for $50 each and two free rounds of golf. Although it sounds great, IT ISN'T. Don't Do it. They will high pressure sales push you to join the club which is only a 25% discount of the normal rate but they make it sound fantastic. In addition, they expect you to sign the contract immediately and they claim that the deal is only available at that moment. The meeting took up over two and a half hours; it was a terrible way to begin our very first day of vacation.

There are a number of other main problems with the resort. First, most of the food is located at the main building which is far from the pools and the beach. Close to the pool, the only food that is available are hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza or fish sticks and in order to get them, you have to stand in very long lines. Secondly, the resort needs more maintenance- stairways and walkways are dirty and have garbage on them. There are cracks in a lot of the walkways and a new paint job is required on many of the building walls. Also, the rooms need to be cleaner; the shower walls and the bathroom floors never look very clean and there are stains and finger prints on the closet doors and some of the walls in the rooms. The bathrooms near the pools are not cleaned very often throughout the day and the toilets do not flush very well at all.

Dear Mr. Latimer and the Hard Rock Team,

I truly appreciate your response to my review, and I wanted to take a moment to extend my gratitude—not just for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, but for the entire Hard Rock brand.

Over the years, Hard Rock has been more than just a place to stay or grab a meal; it has been a home away from home. Whether it’s the comfort of a great burger after months of eating rice in a remote place, the connection to music and memorabilia that sparks memories, or the incredible people I’ve met along the way—Hard Rock has always delivered.

Some of my favorite trips with my son, my friends, and even solo have included stops at Hard Rock locations. From picking up shirts and glassware to collecting souvenirs that remind me of those moments, Hard Rock has been a part of my story. This trip, I couldn’t afford to bring home any keepsakes, but the photos I took and the people I met have left an impression that will last a lifetime.

I think Hard Rock deserves more recognition for the experiences it provides. It’s more than just a brand; it’s a space for music lovers, travelers, and seekers of good times. I hope more people take the chance to walk into a Hard Rock and feel what I’ve felt—whether it’s through the atmosphere, the staff, the food, or just the connection to something bigger.

Thanks again for the incredible hospitality. I hope to be back soon.

Rock on,
Ryan Daniel Norquay

I'm sure Tool in the sand and the madness that went along with it made this very easy for five stars. I hope others can find such awesome experiences here!

This was the first time we went to and all inclusive resort. It didn’t disappoint! The beach was great! The service was impeccable. There are several pools close to the beach. The staff at all the locations were accommodating and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. The food was about what we expected from the reviews - the buffet style places had average buffet food. The nicer restaurants like Toro and Zen that were included but required reservations were very good. The drinks were good. Nothing too fancy but did the job. In all a great trip. We only had one issue. Our A/C had a problem one night and the room got very hot. That’s said once I end to the front desk to report it the hotel took care of the issue that day. I would definitely go back. Thank you all for a great time.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

No, this is not a fake review, read it carefully

Positive points: very tasty food, great restaurants, wonderful beach, super cozy rooms on the beach, there's even a place for footvolley and soccer. 4 or 3 carts run around the resort to help you get around quickly. The place is very nice. The pools are very nice. The atmosphere is great!

Negative points: the service left a little to be desired. The staff give you dirty looks. Check-in is slow. If you lose your wristband, you have to pay a fee. Reservations for the restaurants are complicated, but they're all great!

Hard rock always!

You would think when you see five star hotel that you can expect cleanliness, friendliness and a good time. Unfortunately I didn’t receive any of those.

My main issue was how dirty the resort is, I put my robe on that was given from the resort located in your room closet, to my surprise it’s a literal roach crawling all over my body, I sprint outside throw the robe and the roach attached to it (picture below). I then spent the next two hours going through me and my boyfriend suitcase / clothes to ensure no more roaches were in any of our clothes, who wants to spend their vacation like that?

Next me and my family book one excursion through the hotel directly. This excursion was for the snorkeling boat experience. Long story short our bus ride to the boat we find out our bus is infested with roaches, so again we spent the next couple our hours with everyone checking and shaking off their clothes in fear

Then to come back to your room and try to shower after multiple dirty incidents just to find a lizard and ants all throughout your shower. I can’t explain how frustrated I became!

To make matters worse this trip was for my brother’s engagement. My room was suppose to come with a bottle of champagne which I needed to bring to the proposal to pop and celebrate, of course the champagne never came, so I went to the concierge desk to request my bottle, I informed them I need the bottle asap or else I’ll just have to buy one so I don’t miss the proposal. I was informed the bottle would arrive in 5 minutes to my room. I sprint to my room wait 30 minutes and you guessed it the bottle never came. I run back to the lobby to check and see what’s going on, and the women I spoke with just looked at me as if I was crazy, and didn’t offer any help. I was then forced to spend $160 on a bottle of champagne which is clearly overpriced, just to have to sprint back to the beach because it’s impossible to catch a ride from a cart at this resort which caused me to miss my best friends proposal, a moment I will never get back.

Last but not least there was a very inappropriate toy, on the door… this is not an adult only resort, we had multiple children with us, who were exposed to that toy, i cannot add pictures of the toy or say the name due to Google guidelines, but it’s a toy made from male body parts, just use your imagination...

Safe to say i will never step foot back in DR, let alone come back to the hard rock again!

I recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana for a business event, and overall, I had a great experience. The resort was exceptionally clean and felt very safe, which was a top priority for me. The customer service was outstanding—every employee I interacted with was kind, professional, and eager to help.

The beach was absolutely stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it the perfect place to relax. As for the business events, the hotel did an incredible job ensuring everything ran smoothly and privately, which I really appreciated. Additionally, all the excursions we booked through the hotel were fantastic—safe, fun, and surprisingly educational.

My only real disappointment was the food. For me, one of the best parts of traveling is trying traditional dishes, but unfortunately, every meal I had at the resort was underwhelming. It all tasted like low-quality cafeteria food, with more emphasis on quantity than quality. It was a letdown, especially for an all-inclusive resort in such a vibrant food culture.

If food isn’t a major factor for you, the Hard Rock Punta Cana is a solid choice for a relaxing and well-organized stay. However, if you’re someone who looks forward to culinary experiences while traveling, you might want to explore other resorts.

I expected much more for the price we had to pay. First they put us in a room where the tub on the terrace didn't work, they didn't make the beds properly in 4b, the first room we had was 4476, then I asked for a room change, we arrived and the shower didn't have a door but the tub worked, at the time of having room service done, the chair bed was horrible and the tub was uncleaned, without the foam gel and finally without towels, I had to clean the tub when they are supposed to make the room for you because it is included in the price. The room they moved us to was in a horrible location. You can't see the outside, a tree covers us and you can hear all the parties they throw and play at full volume and someone who goes on vacation to rest but wakes up with a headache and I, who suffer from migraines, had to call to have the volume lowered and nothing.
The breakfast service is terrible, there are guys who ignore you, others who tell you that they are going to bring it to you and it never arrives and few, but very few, bring you at least one orange juice. I have been in better hotels, I do not recommend it, at least I would not return and I will not return.

We loved it. Everything is super well thought out, it is big, but the Carts that take you pass by all the time, various activities, clean, happy people, good food and attractive stalls like churros, mixology, etc. It's great that it has stores, I caught a cold and found a pharmacy right here. We also bought a spectacular tour to Saona. Every detail makes one have a great time. The only thing is that they should play a little more local and Latin music in general. All the time music is in English and even those from the US when they come here seek to listen to more Latin music and learn. I mean, we have to think more about the Latinos who also come here 👌🏼

You cannot ask for nuch more from a 5 star all inclusive resort. There's so much food options that something will suit you. (Special mention to the Steakhouse ! Amazing Spot)

The Whole resort is amazing (and Massive) But you can get Golf Carts or on resort to help transport you around. Room service is inclusive and amazing quality too.

I won't need to go into a much more detail here. You will have an amazing time at this resort. I will be returning.

My stay began here on May 31st, a lovely Friday afternoon. At first, the receptionist, guest services, and amenities seemed nice until everything turned against me that night. On Friday night, there were small hot dog vendors that strictly sold hot dogs, which were one of the few food selections I could get at the time. The morning after is when things took a turn for the worse. I woke up sweaty and had to go straight to the bathroom, where I had severe liquid diarrhea. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. Throughout the day (which was now mid-day Saturday), the frequency of my diarrhea increased, along with urges to puke and overall stomach sensitivity.

I figured after a day or two, this would pass, but by Sunday morning, I also woke up with a fever. I took ibuprofen and Tylenol (that I brought with me) to ease the pain. Now, this is where everything goes even more downhill. What I thought was a friendly and attentive guest services and front desk turned out not to be true.

My pain worsened, and from Saturday morning until Tuesday morning, which was the day I had to leave for my flight, I called almost FIVE TIMES to ask for medical care or any services that they could provide to help me out with this severe bout of food poisoning or stomach virus that I got from THEIR OWN facility. The front desk, without any emotion, told me there would be a $250 charge just for a consultation and kept saying that the food vendors are subcontractors, therefore it’s not their fault for providing the food. Now, how was I supposed to know that initially? I also had to explain my situation over 3-4 times to every new "associate." It genuinely seemed like they didn’t care about customers who were sick.

They denied all medical service, blaming it on the fact that the medical team was a subcontractor as well. They didn’t provide me with any accommodations or medicine and even lied that they didn’t have any when I literally had to force myself out of bed to go to the gift shop, where I found some antibiotics. I was bedridden my entire stay there and had to suffer. I would really reconsider going here at the end of the day. Sure, I may have some bias due to unfortunate events, but the service, care, and responsibility for people who got sick from eating at the resort is NON-EXISTENT.

TLDR: Went to have fun but got severe food poisoning. No one actually cared and I received almost no assistance for care. I had to get charged for everything, even for a medical consultation for $250. "Guest services" didn’t even know they had antibiotics in their own gift shop, so I had to painfully walk out of bed myself and explore to find and get it. Don’t come here. Absolutely horrid experience. Genuinely a big warning to everyone going.

Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana had its ups and downs. The combination of luxurious accommodations, diverse dining options, and a plethora of activities and entertainment made for a lively vacation.

However, we faced some challenges, particularly with finding sufficient vegetarian food options. Most restaurants had limited vegetarian choices, which made meal times less enjoyable for those with dietary restrictions. Additionally, while most of the staff were friendly and attentive, we did encounter some rude staff members, which dampened our experience.

A special shout-out to Nikaura, the waitress at the Guitar Pool. Her exceptional service and friendly demeanor truly stood out and made our poolside experience wonderful. She went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and added a personal touch to our stay.

I recommend this resort with reservations, particularly for families and music lovers, but advise potential guests to be aware of these issues. If you do visit, make sure to spend some time at the Guitar Pool and say hi to Nikaura!

Pure name. Bad attention from the moment you arrive. The air doesn't work, it doesn't solve anything for you. If you don't tip, you don't get anything. The only good thing is the beach. Preferable to go to another smaller chain of hotels that take care of their clients.

I made this a high rating review so everyone can see! I just got back from Hard Rock in Punta Cana yesterday and it is safe to say it was my first and absolute LAST time I'll be going there. I was robbed not once but TWICE. Both times there were workers from Hard Rock involved. This is not a review categorizing every single worker as a thief and a liar because there were some who genuinely treated me well but there were a few who you can clearly tell do this regularly to split profits amongst each other. The first incident happened by the pool where a pair of glasses were lost and returned to one of the entertainment/pool workers and then denied the guest handed him anything. We let it go and tried not to let it ruin our trip even though they were a $400 pair of glasses. If you go to La Isla buffet make sure you hold on tight to your belongings, they stole my phone while I was waiting for my omelette to be made. I placed it down on the counter to grab a tip and I now regret doing that. For being a good person my phone was stolen right under my nose because not too many people feel the need to tip them for doing their job. The guy running the floor which I unfortunately did not take his name because I was so flustered at the situation misguided me and lied. He was my 1st point of contact who said I'd get proper help, sent me to the front desk to file a report that they didn't care about just to tell me I would have to wait 24-48 hours for them to let me know If they saw anything on cameras. I am writing now after I received an email from them saying there was no evidence someone took my phone. This is proof that they all work together to split whatever they make from selling stolen items. The security guard I was assigned didn't do absolutely anything except stand there and just stare at the counter I said I was robbed from then proceeded to say we were done and as we were leaving he said he needed to go back to the restaurant because he didn't "take a picture" of the incident location. As if that wasn't suspicious enough. These people are too slick and do this more often than you know. Its people like that who taint the name of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for hiring thieves and liars like that. I am never going back to this place, I'm so disappointed after all the money I spent I had to inconvenience my life due to the negligence of these thieves. Horrible experience, I don't recommend to go here unless you also want to be robbed. Its not all great like it appears and their food was making a lot of guests sick during my stay. I hate that I couldn't enjoy my trip and I knew there won't be any help from their part.

The resort is a monster. Over 1,500 rooms?! Not sure for elderly or even people who don’t like to walk. If you don’t speak Spanish you’re sometimes ignored at the bars. The rooms are pretty outdated. The Mexican restaurant was not edible. Hard Rock can do better. This place is just too big to do things how you expect for the price.

I would leave negative or no stars if I could. My husband and I traveled to Hard Rock Punta Cana for a wedding, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Right from the start, we faced challenges with the room arrangements. Despite booking five months in advance and requesting a king bed, the hotel was unaccommodating. Upon arrival, we were met with rudeness and a refusal to honor our simple request, even though the hotel has over 1800 rooms.

As a vegetarian, I struggled with the lack of food options tailored to my dietary needs. The service was subpar, with room service taking over an hour and multiple instances of finding hair in the food. To top it off, they even served me chicken soup instead of the vegetarian option I ordered. Requesting clean bedsheets and towels was a hassle, as they were stained with dirt or blood.

The overall experience was disappointing, considering the high cost associated with the Hard Rock brand. The staff's lack of willingness to provide basic services and the focus on profit over guest satisfaction was evident. I would caution others against booking at this property, as the service and cleanliness standards fell well below expectations. It's disheartening when a hotel fails to deliver on the most basic aspects of hospitality.

This was our second stay at this property (we’ve also been to Hard Rock in Cancun and Riviera Maya). We love this place. It’s tremendous with tons of dining options and probably a dozen pools. It was busy, but not overcrowded and we were always easily able to find a spot we liked at the pools and at the beach. The service was excellent throughout the property from the restaurants to the pools, including the bell boys (Luis was great with scheduling a taxi for us when he took the bags from our room at checkout).

The only downside is the high pressure sales tactics of the Legendary Vacations sales team, but we were able to completely avoid it this vacation (we are already Legendary members, but even when you are, they try to upsell you). However, I will say that we joined Legendary around 5 years ago and the investment has already paid itself off.

We will be back. Highly recommend this property.

My first experience for an all-inclusive resort. Food was substandard - - think mass produced-- as is th service. The rooms are great. This Resort is huge and it's a half mile walk to the beach and all in the same complex. Not convenient. Rooms do not have great views But the rooms themselves are really really wonderful. Mattress was great as were the pillows. The employees manning the stations for the food, ice cream and coffee place think they're doing you a favor by serving you.
