The outdoor shower tucked into each bungalow’s private garden area quickly became one of our favorite features. A couple of the bungalows also include private plunge pools, perfect for cooling off in the afternoon without ever leaving your space.

After hours of driving, this was the perfect place to relax and get rest. The view is amazing. The service exceptional. Semi secluded but right off the road. Food delivery was great. Absolutely stunning view. Yes I had to mention it again. All the essentials available. Our host super attentive and soooo nice. We got peaceful rest to recharge and get back on the road. Would have loved to Stay longer. Pet friendly we did not travel with pets but other visitor did, pets seemed happy.

This place is absolutely magical! Words can't describe it. The staff is warm, wonderful, and extremely accommodating. The bungalows are chique and comfortable. The other accomodations are beautiful and relaxing. The beach offers expansive space, swimming and surf. The town provides amazing cuisine and authentic charm. What else could you ask for?!

We were a group of 8 (4kids 9-15yrs.)....rented the 3 villas for a 3 nt. stay at Tonina's and it was wonderful to say the least! The villas are adorable, comfortable and well equipped with wifi, t.v., air conditioning, coffee maker and complimentary coffee and tea and everything you need to make meals....you bring your own food to prepare or there are places close by to order in as well as a small store in the pueblito. The outdoor showers in the bathrooms are a really super neat feature. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Common area has an outdoor kitchen, bbq and lots of seating/lounging areas and hammocks. The pool is nice for cooling off after a long walk on the beach. Our days consisted of lounging in the mornings around the outdoor areas gazing out at the ocean looking for dolphins...saw them once!!! Then a long walk on the beach which we basically had all to ourselves....tide was out mid morning and the kids would spend hours in the tide pools right in front of Tonina's looking for ocean life and cool shells. A quick dip in the ocean and then lunch and relax. We brought games, music and books. If you fish....people fish from the beach. Early evenings were spent again on the beach gathering fire wood for the bonfire. Driftwood from the beach is plentiful for this. Bring marshmallows if travelling with kids or you can buy a bag at the little store. Prepare for fabulous sunsets. It was super fun to have dinners outdoors around the large common area table. Once the sun went down the bonfire was lit and the marshmallows were roasted. The stars are amazing! We relaxed, played and literally enjoyed every second of our stay. The owners made us feel immediately welcome and were readily available to answer any questions or concerns. Cleaning service available, lots of towels and lovely toiletries. Esty, the adorable husky, was readily available to accompany us on our beach walks, hang by the fire and play tug of war with all the kids. Her dog friend...we called Loca.....would come by occasionally too. Turtle sanctuary near by which was closed when we went. We weren't lucky this trip to witness any turtles laying eggs....maybe next time! Will we go back? I'm trying to figure out our next dates as I write!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
