What Do People Think About Staying At Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun?

This was my first time staying at Le Blanc Cancun, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The management is unresponsive, the food quality is nothing like I had expected and the overall experience felt nothing like the luxury standard, where you had paid top dollar like $1000 per night. Resort is poorly managed, with terrible service, inconsistent meals, and lack of attention to guests, particularly if you are not a member. For the price you pay, you expect excellence — not excuses. 😔
Making restaurant reservations is nearly impossible unless you’re a member — we could only get a 9:30 PM slot, which is unacceptable for a supposedly 5-star resort. Even Diamond members should reconsider renewing, as the overall experience no longer matches the price or reputation. There’s simply no room or attention left for regular guests. I will never go back. A total disappointment.
Our family of five checked into your resort with great anticipation, only to have our stay ruined by a severe room leak. What made the situation truly unacceptable was the hotel's response:
1. We were not promptly relocated to a safe and clean alternative room.
2. No compensation was offered throughout the entire ordeal.
3. The management adopted an exceptionally rigid and unaccommodating attitude, refusing to provide any form of compensation.
For a resort that promotes itself as a luxury destination, your failure to demonstrate basic service integrity and goodwill when guests face such inconvenience was astonishing. What should have been a joyful family vacation turned into a stressful experience that left us all deeply upset.
While we will leave Cancun as planned, please be assured that we will never choose Le Blanc Spa Resort again. A hotel unwilling to ensure the basic well-being of its guests in times of need does not deserve any traveler's trust.
I urge potential guests to think twice. When traveling abroad, no one wants to find themselves without support and care when problems arise.
The most concerning incident involved our check-out. A man named Sergio approached us under the guise of assisting with our luggage. He then proceeded to aggressively sell hotel packages and, alarmingly, falsely informed us that our pre-booked airport transfer had departed. He further suggested we use a taxi driver from his personal contacts. This misleading information caused us a significant and stressful delay. After an hour, we discovered our original driver had been waiting for us the entire time, visibly frustrated. We also found Sergio's repeated personal questions to myself and my wife to be intrusive and unprofessional.
Additionally, we were disappointed by other aspects of our stay:
We were unable to secure a reservation at your signature French restaurant on any night of our stay, which was a notable disappointment.
We encountered noticeable hesitation when requesting basic amenities like bathtub salts, which detracted from the sense of luxury and hospitality.
On a positive note, we must commend Victor from the lobby kitchen. His service was exemplary, and his positive attitude was a genuine highlight.
Unfortunately, due to these experiences—particularly the deceptive and stressful check-out process—we cannot consider returning to your resort. We hope this feedback is helpful for your ongoing service improvements.
Every detail at this resort is perfection. The grounds and common areas are immaculate, the rooms are spotless and beautifully maintained, and the service is on another level. Our butlers were phenomenal, always steps ahead of us, remembering our names, and anticipating every need without us ever having to ask. Raul, in particular, was incredible during the day and made us feel so looked after.
The food and drinks were outstanding at every restaurant and bar. Yama ended up being our favorite with its incredible wagyu and top-notch sushi, and Alberto was so kind during dinner one evening when I dined alone. He went out of his way to check in and keep me company throughout my meal, which made me feel so comfortable and was truly appreciated. The Blanc Buffet had a wonderful variety and presentation, Bella was elegant and flavorful, and the Lobby Bar and pool bars served the best drinks in the whole resort. Hugo at the swim-up bar kept the fun going and the cocktails flawless. Even the coffee shop and ice cream by the pool were standout experiences.
The spa was beyond anything I have ever experienced. The four-hands massage was unforgettable, and Selena was so talented and professional that I booked two more massages with her. She made the experience magical and truly elevated our trip.
Every single staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Housekeeping kept our room immaculate, the bell staff were attentive and welcoming, and the entire team worked together so effortlessly that it created a completely stress-free, luxurious atmosphere.
If we had one small wish, it would be to have a bit more entertainment around the pool or in the evenings. While there were fun touches like bingo by the pool, a small blackjack game, live bands in the cocktail lounge, and a DJ around 10 p.m., a little more variety would be a great addition. That said, we came to relax, and we did.
Le Blanc Cancun is simply in a league of its own. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are unmatched. This was the most amazing resort experience, and we cannot stop telling everyone about it. We are already dreaming of coming back.
Our room had a stunning ocean view, and the balcony quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. By the pool, the Pool Concierges ensure total comfort. Jose always made sure we had the perfect chairs, and Lucinda’s contagious energy reminded us why this place is so special.
The spa is our sanctuary, with the relaxing hydrotherapy experience, Abelardo’s warm welcome, and Alejandra’s incredible massage and facial therapies (especially her signature oshibori facial).
We also had an exceptional evening at Lumiere, the elegant French restaurant. A special thanks to Tonahui, the sommelier, who elevated our meal with his thoughtful wine pairings. Each selection created a striking contrast in the flavors of every dish—enhancing our experience in a way that made the evening truly memorable.
The staff make us feel remembered, appreciated, and genuinely cared for—exactly why we keep coming back.

The food and service were absolutely incredible, with every restaurant exceeding my expectations. The grounds are immaculate, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. The spa is a true highlight, and the complimentary hydrotherapy area—complete with an infrared sauna, wet sauna, cold room, and hot tub—was simply amazing.
My only criticisms are minor. Upon check-in, we were directed to a separate desk for a welcome package, which turned out to be a pushy timeshare pitch. The representative was persistent throughout our stay, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, the resort only has three elevators, and one was out of service for most of our visit. While the rooms were clean, they were a bit small for such a high-end resort.
Le Blanc has a mature, no-drama atmosphere, so it's not the place for a party crowd. Despite the minor issues, the amazing food and service make it a place we would definitely stay at again. We had an incredible time.
I also want to say that the butler service was out of this world. Cecilia was our butler until 3 everyday and Jose was our evening butler. We had more interaction with Cecilia because we’re generally early to bed, but both of them were beyond great. We felt like Cecelia wasn’t an employee by the time we left, we felt like she was a new friend we made. That’s how kind and wonderful she was. Jose even drew an amazing in room jacuzzi with rose pedals and a bottle of non alcoholic champagne (non drinkers) for us one evening after our return from dinner. They’re always there to make sure you’re taken care of, but if you want to be left alone you just press the privacy button and nobody will bother you.
I could go on and on and I know I’m forgetting several things. If you are a nondrinker like myself every restaurant has non alcoholic options that are delicious! I really appreciated that. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. The “no kids” thing really keeps this place quiet and I saw no drunken behavior from any other guest. Every employee had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed happy to be there and happy we were there too. We can’t wait to go back and are already looking forward to it. Again, I’m a very well seasoned traveler. My spouse and I have been all over the world. I’ve been to a dozen resorts in Cancun, but this is the one I’ll be calling home from this point forward. When we arrived they said “welcome home.” Now I know why. 10 stars all day everyday.

The wedding coordinator was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about every detail, making our special day absolutely perfect. Our butler was beyond incredible, anticipating our needs before we even thought of them and ensuring we felt pampered the entire stay.
The drinks were top shelf and crafted with care, the dining was exceptional with every meal feeling like fine dining, and the pools and beach were simply stunning. Every corner of this property is immaculate, and the atmosphere is as relaxing as it is luxurious.
What truly sets Le Blanc apart is its prestigious customer service. Every single staff member made us feel valued and celebrated. It is rare that I leave a destination and say I would return to the very same hotel, but in this case, I would come back to Le Blanc Cancun without hesitation.

Billyjoel and Rodrigo were our very attentive butlers and they were so accommodating and always made sure we had what we needed. They even suggested things we hadn't thought of.
We ate at The Lumiere and Yama (reservations required for both) and they were out of this world. Even the buffets here are incredible.
Cancun's resort affords a beautiful view and great beach front with ocean swimming. Cabo is great as well, especially in February when you can see the whales from the resort beach.
They do offer perks/credits if you attend the 90-minute membership pitch, but the one we attended was not high pressure. At the end of our stay, they offered a discount coupon for a future visit at great rates, which we plan to use, since we will be back!

Manager Roger) at Le Blanc is truly the best of the best. The attentive service throughout our stay by the butlers, pool and beach staff, waiters, entertainment crew and cleaning staff - every member of the team goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel pampered and taken care of. Their friendliness and professionalism make you feel special.
Loving to watch the sun set, I prefer a lagoon facing room. Our room was absolutely breathtaking. It had a spacious layout. The bathroom had modern amenities, and a stunning ocean view from the shower. At night we would watch sunsets from our balcony. The room was the perfect place to unwind after a day of art, cooking, exercise or lounging by the pool and/or beach. The luxurious bedding, pillow menu, amenities (scent diffusers in each room), bath salts, soaps, mini bar and attention to detail made every night restful and rejuvenating.
There are five restaurant dining options for dinner at Le Blanc. We ate delicious meals in all of them. The chefs here are the best and go out of their way to make sure guests are happy with their meals. Having a food allergy, the staff at every restaurant ensured that I was eating food that wasn’t cross contaminated, which I am thankful for. The flavors at Yama make you feel like you are in Asia. The truffle fettuccine at Bella is phenomenal. The steaks are cooked perfectly to order at Blanc.Terraza is a more casual setting with amazing Mexican dishes and desserts in the evening and pizza for lunch. Lumière is a fine dining French experience that you should experience at least once during your stay.
The spa at Le Blanc is a true oasis for relaxation. We treated ourselves to a few massages and hydrotherapy circuit sessions. Who is going to say no to a scalp massage while lying on a hot stone?
The tranquil environment, skilled therapists, and extensive selection of services left us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
The overall vibe of the resort is incredibly calm, with three beautiful pools, a perfect beach (with amazing staff), and plenty of lounge chairs for soaking up the sun.
