We paid all inclusive to stay with our kids at a nice hotel and having everything there on hand but sadly it was not possible. Hotel and service was good but we were very very dissatisfied with restaurants on property and their food.
All beverages for kids like lemonade, juice, sodas or non alcoholic tasted like water. They are diluted.The food was low quality and had no flavor. The “nicer” restaurants like Zen charge an extra amount for certain plates which we paid and the steak and food was not worth at all! For an all inclusive and what we paid for we expected much more…

My wife and I had a great stay. Juan was serving on the poolside and was amazing. He had our next drink or bite to eat at our side before we put our last one down. So friendly and helpful.
On the beach side was Dianne. She was amazing as well. She seemed to know when we needed something as she always appeared at perfect times. Amazing!

We can’t say enough good things about Hard Rock Vallarta! The resort size was perfect for us, with everything in walking distance. The ocean view from our 8th floor room/balcony was unbeatable. And the food was amazing! All of the food we had was delicious but we especially enjoyed eating at Frida, the Mexican restaurant.
All of the staff we interacted with were kind, helpful, and hard working. Our butlers (Uri, Frank, and Alex) were on top of everything - checking in with us constantly, making sure we had chairs reserved on the beach every day and dinner reservations every evening. Our room was kept clean and fresh every day, thanks to Cinthia and the housekeeping team. Cristy and Alma greeted us with a smile every morning at the towel stand. And Diana made sure we always had a drink in hand on the beach and checked in with us often. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible stay at Hard Rock Vallarta! The entertainment group truly made our trip unforgettable—non-stop fun, energy, and amazing performances every day. Huge shoutout to Reed for going above and beyond—his charisma and dedication really stood out. The food and drinks were top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious options and expertly crafted cocktails. Every corner of the resort was spotless, and the staff clearly takes pride in maintaining such a beautiful, clean environment. The overall atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing—a perfect balance for both fun and downtime. Can’t wait to come back!
I had a great week with my family at this resort. The service was good, and the staff was really nice and friendly. We met a lot of nice families by the pool and at restaurants. The restaurants did not have a lot of choices as well as in the buffet, but that's because it's smaller compared to Hard Rock Los Cabos. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about.
This hotel in my opinion has it all, first is all inclusive so if you want to eat and drink everything this is your hotel. The restaurants so delicious and one favorite thing is there is a small restaurant like this a food stand where you can go for pizza when you're in the pool area. What I liked most was that there is a special area for children where there are video games and machine games and other things very funny. The night shows are so impressionist in special the fire show. The room where I was, it was very comfortable and had a jacuzzi. The people of service were so kind and helpful, so I feel satisfied. In general, I love the hotel and beach, and I would like to return very soon.
Overall decent place. We didn't leave hotel much this trip so not sure about the area. Staff was very pleasant to deal with. My son had a great time with all the activities. He really enjoyed the billiards table. He loved the food. I thought it was fine, lol. Beach was in great shape as was the first 50 meters of swimming.
Pool was average. Rooms were adequate! Jacuzzi tub was a nice feature. Would stay here again.

It is a very nice hotel and there is a lot of atmosphere. The staff is friendly, especially Ash, who is dedicated to the atmosphere of the hotel and the games.

Great time, good food and great service. Getting a chair at the pool was about impossible because everything is reserved at 8am, what is left is snatched up in about 10 minutes, so get out there early. On fifth floor, the club in lobby was a bit loud but tolerable.
I never write reviews but need to get this off my chest. I am sooo disappointed in my choice of selecting The Hard Rock. Day 3 out of 7 and we are going off resort to eat. I did alot of research when planning our special trip to Peurto Vallarta and by reading reviews I thought it was a solid choice.( even though it was the pricest of my choices). ....sooo wrong!!!!! Especially for the price I payed. The food has been Terrible in all the restaurants. The buffet is a joke , no fresh salad choices and for hot food you have pizza and a few odd choices for hot food...and I emphasize FEW!! To be honest Cuba even had a better buffet. Our first night we did the Brazilian a la carte , which consisted of a small buffet and then they brought the meat around...the beef was soo tough and the chicken was not edible...not a great first impression for our first night so thought the others HAVE to be better. WRONG !! Thought we would be okay with Zen as this restaurant in particular had good reviews. Chicken Satay was disgusting, cold, hard and flavorless. Crispy sushi rolls same results...didn't eat the main dishes as I was so turned off by appetizers. Ciao steaks was over done and salmon entree came out close to raw. Mexican restaurant is part buffet, again a joke!!Also I get that they need to turn tables as quickly as possible but getting our entrees when we are still eating our appetizers is soo not cool. Best food so far was off resort at The Fat Boys in Buccerias!!! As for the rooms there is absolutely no counter space in bathroom, no balconies....but I will say the beds are comfy. Shame on the Hard Rock for charging the rates you do!!!!! Never again and I definitely would not recommend to anybody, especially being a " higher end " resort.

A HUGE shout out to Chef Isreal and Chef-Rey for a wonderful dinner tonight. I can now honestly say I am looking forward to our culinary adventures for the remainder of our trip. A special thank you to the team at Frida!! Araceli, Augustin, and Noemi thank you for a most enjoyable evening at your restaurant!! I feel reassured I DID make the right choice choosing Hard Rock Vallarta!!! I will be returning and can honestly say if anyone is looking to come to Vallarta, Hard Rock is a solid choice!!! This is the second time here at the hard rock, we love this resort. I read a few comments about the food but we didn’t feel this way. The food is fresh, tasty and the service is incredible. Every morning we were served by Luis and he ensured i had a fresh apple juice made out of apples.
We brought our elderly parents and they enjoyed the room service it was perfect for them as they didn’t want to come out every night. We also ordered coffee every morning and it came within 20min.
The pools were clean, however they were very warm.
Seagulls were much better this year.
Also the music around the pool at 9am is really good. Usually between 3-4 they have activities in the main pool and it is very annoying to hear someone in the microphone for 1 hour, when you want to listen to music and relax, but if you like the games it’s fine.

It's okay, it's just that those from the legendary agencies are very insistent about buying the membership that helps you with certain things that on the other hand it seems unfair to me that they set aside lounge chairs, tables, etc... and in high season you can't afford it

All deluxe Suite rooms only have a bed and giant tub/which you prob won’t use. Would have expected a couch. We moved rooms since lights and fan out and smelled like mildew.
Also you need to be a club member to get good seats by the pool- VIP. Overall facility felt outdated. And would have like to see more evening live bands vs DJ and shuttles to town. And food was ok not great. Won’t go back.

They only had a single Internet network for the entire hotel and it did not work. You have to come down early to reserve a lounge chair, for a hotel of that magnitude there should be enough in both the pool and beach areas.
A great experience where you can mix rest with fun, the attention of the entire team is exceptional and the food in their restaurants is delicious.
I love this hotel, the hospitality at all times from all its collaborators, everyone is very friendly, very delicious food, you always find seafood, their wood-fired pizzas, healthy snacks, I love that to go to the restaurants you don't need to make a prior reservation and you don't have to They limit attending them, 24-hour room service, the truth is that the hotel in general is incredible, its beach is delicious and not dangerous, the spa area is incredible, the service of each collaborator and delicious masseuse is an experience that no one should miss.

Very good hotel, they treat you kindly and help you with your suitcases to take them to the room and the food is average like everyone else obviously but it is very delicious
Rooms are good other than being older and not soundproof to the night life. There were weddings 4 of 7 nights I think and the music was louder than we’d like to hear in our room but not unbearable. We’ll be back, just definitely the oldest and smallest Hard Rock of the locations. Butlers were phenomenal and I think the best approach is tipping as you go for everyone in service. It was hard to keep money on us in the pool/at the beach, but the drinks felt liquor-less especially if we weren’t consistently tipping.
Very baby-friendly/accommodating as we brought our 11 month old but know there is no babysitting under age of 2.
We loved walking the beach every morning and appreciated the views all day/night.

Luxury staff, very friendly. But there are few staff for the hotel, the food is very bad, they can't cope. Restaurants are running out of food and they cannot supply the cooks. The price does not match what it offers.
Spent a week here with my wife Thelma in July and absolutely loved it! The room, the view, the beach, the food, the drinks, and especially the staff and service were outstanding. Will definitely come back again when we need to relax and unwind. Enjoyed a romantic dinner on the beach at Ciao thanks to Samuel and Claudia where we had the majority of our meals overlooking the ocean. The staff there were wonderful, Lalo, Lucy, Cristal, Dulce, Leno, Obed, and others. The service on the beach was also always outstanding thanks to Zu, Morgan, Diane, and Luis and Nestor at the Splash Bar, and Alma at the towel station. The shows in the evening were a great way to cap the day and there are plenty of nearby touring excursions available to your liking. Special thanks to El Capitan Samuel who was always busy but still made time to make sure our entire experience was the best it could be. I give the Hard Rock my highest recommendation.
Easy access, a lot of variety in delicious food, top-notch drinks, very warm service from the staff, very varied entertainment, different shows every day, excellent music, very clean facilities, the best place to vacation!!! Too much fun!!
We are only on our 2nd day. We haven’t had any food that was good. The pizza actually wasn’t edible. The dough and the pepperoni wasn’t cooked. The service and staff are great but the rest is lacking. We are at Zen last night. The waiter was probably the worst I have ever had. We left early because the service was so bad.

My husband and I came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we seriously couldn't choose a better hotel.
From the moment we arrived until we left, the attention was incredible, they really made us feel at home 🙌🏽. We were fortunate that they gave us the room a little earlier than expected and we were really grateful for that since we were super tired from the flight.
The room was perfect, spacious, the bed was super comfortable and impeccable cleanliness. We thought that perhaps because we were close to the party area and close to the UNICO construction we would have problems resting, but that was not the case, the noises were almost imperceptible and the parties end at a good time. The hotel amenities are replenished daily, the room service is super friendly and efficient both in calls and delivery. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the room.
The pool area is excellent too, coming in the low season we never had problems choosing lounge chairs both in the pool and on the beach, but we were people who got up around 8, as the day goes by it is a little more difficult to have good places . The problem lies in guests who set aside many lounge chairs and do not return to use them until 5 hours later (I witnessed this a couple of times) but you can still tell the staff and they will help you find a good place. Daniel and Alma at the towel service were very kind and attentive, every day we were served with a big smile and kindness.
The beach is also beautiful and very swimmable, the waiter service in that area is also good, I don't remember the names of everyone who served us but they were always super attentive to us.
The food, both breakfast and snacks, was good, I liked that depending on the day there was a lot of variety in the bars and I will not tire of reiterating that seriously the service is incredible, all the workers in the snack area, mainly the grill, are nice, friendly and gentle, I had to be served several times by a girl who was in training at the hamburger grill and she always had a big smile on her face and was very friendly despite the heat of being there.
The restaurants are excellent and the superior level of food in the morning and afternoon is evident. Also the waiter service at Market, Zen, Ipanema and mainly Ciao is excellent, we greatly appreciated the attention of the hosts. The day we celebrated our anniversary, Ciao's hostess was the best, they sent us a small detail to the table apart from continually congratulating us both herself and our waiters (sorry for forgetting their names 😭)
I don't want to go on so long, but in general we love this hotel, we spent some incredible days here and we already want to return.
I really want to highlight that EVERYONE's service was the best, Vero at Caffeto is a love, the entertainment team both at the pool and on the beach are super nice, the lifeguards who are always on the lookout, all the cleaning and service staff, The bell boys at the arrival and departure are also on another level. Victor from legendary tmb was mega kind and understanding with us upon our arrival as he explained to us in general terms what he offered and understood that we were also tired, we want to thank Cristobal and his partner who offered us a great deal to return to the Hard chain Rock coming soon 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 we can't wait to see the other resorts they have ❤️
Seriously, the staff here is something else, we already want to come back and bring family and friends with us.

This is our go to beach spot we all inclusive offering is amazing and if you can find it on sale, it’s even better multitude of restaurants, pools bars, and the classic Hard Rock experience.
A very complete hotel, the people are very friendly. Delicious food, I have no complaints.
Everything is great in the hotel, I highly recommend it, the customer service is very good, nothing more than the elevator was failing a lot and some facilities are already old but everything is fine, the rooms are not that great and are a little small but going there is to have fun and not be locked in a room

When they say all inclusive they really mean it. Had a more than awesome experience all around. Had a blast with the 24h room service, the espresso machine in the room, the minibar, the coffee shop, restaurants and everything in between. You can also order an electric guitar and an amp to your room (which i did), borrow paddle boards, yayak, boogie board for the beach. The gym is also very well equipped. And the spa delivered way more than I expected 👌
We stayed in the Rock Star Suite and had an awesome week! The service was wonderful and our Butlers, Frank and Uri were super responsive and took care of everything we needed. Food and Drinks were great and the location is right on the beach so we love being able to go for a walk each day. Amy, our Legendary representative was amazing!! Pool concierge Bernie and waiters Juan and Oscar were great and stopped by often to get anything we needed!!
Our bathroom had a bad septic smell. The elevator bell was too loud. We heard the elevator bell all the way into our room. Door to the room needs to be more sound proof. Couldn't order food from the lounge chairs/poolside. The food by the pool area and restaurants was ok.
The staff/employees at arrival, check in, bellhop, pool waiters/waitresses, restaurant waiters and waitresses and over all staff services was great.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, and I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding experience I had, starting from the smooth service as soon as we arrived to the Resort till our last cup of coffee from Cafetto.
My husband and I decided to make a trip to the resort to check out the area before having our wedding here in a few months. Lorena and Daniela were amazing, greeting us at the front and making sure we felt welcomed. Rosario, who works at Ciao also provided exceptional service that significantly enhanced my dining experience. All of their attention to detail, warm demeanor, and extensive knowledge of the area truly made my time at the resort memorable. The combination of exquisite food and exemplary service exceeded my expectations. We were treated like real VIPs. They even had amazing shows and events, one of them being a fire show - truly intriguing!
I believe that such remarkable experiences should be acknowledged, and I wanted to take a moment to commend the entire team at Hard Rock Vallarta for their dedication to providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience.

The experience was great, food and beverages are really good, the beach is nice they have enough space for everybody. They have staff all across the property and they are really friendly. The only con's are in the room, is a tiny room and a tiny bathroom... But since You spent most of time out if the room i will keep the 5 stars. Also location is great there is a supermarket at 5 minutes (walking time) if You forget something is better to go there....
