The Punta Mita Beach Cup is a 5v5 Men’s Open beach soccer tournament held in Punta de Mita, Mexico. Teams compete in a structured tournament format featuring guaranteed matches and a championship bracket.

The tournament is open to Men’s Open teams from Mexico, the United States, Canada, and other approved regions. Local clubs, corporate teams, friend groups, and independent teams are welcome.

Teams may register up to 8 players per roster.

The tournament entry fee is $500 USD per team.

The fee helps cover referees, tournament operations, scheduling, field setup, awards, and event coordination.

The tournament features a guaranteed $3,000 USD cash prize for the tournament champion.

Additional sponsor-funded prizes and awards may be announced before kickoff.

Players may stay at the host resort or arrange their own accommodations. Staying at the host resort is completely optional and is not required for tournament participation.

Participants who book the official host resort package through Hotel Resort Discounts receive:

• Access to the tournament lounge area between matches

• Tournament communications and event updates

• The convenience of staying close to tournament activities throughout the weekend

The host resort package is optional and available separately from tournament registration.

Matches will take place on the beachfront adjacent to Marival Armony Resort & Spa in Punta de Mita, Mexico.

Team Captains register first and receive a Team Code.

Players then register individually using that Team Code to join their team’s roster.

Team spots are confirmed after registration requirements are completed and the team entry fee is received.

Because the tournament is limited to 12 teams, spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Every team is guaranteed at least 3 matches regardless of results.

Top-performing teams advance to the championship bracket and compete for the tournament title and $3,000 cash prize.

Final schedules and tournament format will be released before tournament weekend.

Tournament matches are expected to consist of two 15-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break.

Final match lengths may vary slightly depending on scheduling and tournament operations.

Players may join an existing team if invited by a Team Captain and provided with a Team Code.

Players traveling by air should arrive at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR).

Roster changes may be permitted before the roster finalization deadline. Additional restrictions may apply as tournament weekend approaches.


 

Participants are responsible for their own medical expenses, insurance coverage, and personal safety. All participants must complete the required waiver before participating.

Players, coaches, and spectators are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect toward opponents, referees, staff, guests, and resort personnel.

The tournament reserves the right to issue warnings, remove individuals from matches, disqualify teams, or remove participants from tournament activities for unsafe, abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior.

Tournament officials may adjust match schedules, field assignments, or competition formats if weather or safety conditions require modifications.

Any changes will be communicated to Team Captains as quickly as possible.

All teams and players must complete registration before arrival.

The tournament requires a minimum number of registered teams in order to move forward.

By August 29, 2026, all registered participants will be notified whether the tournament has been officially confirmed.

If the tournament does not move forward:

• All tournament entry fees paid to Hotel Resort Discounts will be refunded in full.

• Participants who booked the official host resort package through Hotel Resort Discounts may choose to continue with their resort stay and transportation package for the scheduled travel dates.

• Participants who do not wish to continue with the host resort package may request a full refund before the applicable cancellation deadline.

Once the tournament is officially confirmed, participants may proceed with booking flights and making final travel arrangements.

Tournament Overview

The Punta Mita Beach Cup is a 5v5 Men’s Open beach soccer tournament taking place October 29–November 1, 2026 in Punta de Mita, Mexico.

Registration is limited to 12 teams. Each team may roster up to 8 players and is guaranteed at least 3 matches, with top-performing teams advancing to the championship bracket.

$500 USD Team Entry Fee • $3,000 Guaranteed Cash Prize for the Tournament Champion

Team Captains register first and receive a Team Code that players use to join their roster. Players may stay at the host resort or arrange accommodations independently.

Starting at $1,499 USD per room (up to 2 guests)

  • Remaining Balance: Due by September 29, 2026.

Tournament confirmation will be announced by August 29, 2026. If the tournament is not confirmed by that date, any deposits or payments received toward the official host resort package will be refunded in full.
