We stayed at Casa de la Playa from February 2–9, 2026, and it was one of the most exceptional vacation experiences we’ve had. If you enjoy luxury travel, VIP service, and experiences that go beyond a traditional all-inclusive, this resort truly stands out.

From the moment we arrived, the experience felt elevated. The VIP transportation from the airport set the tone immediately, and throughout the week the service remained consistently attentive and personal. We stayed in a beachfront room with a private pool, stone bathtub, and direct access to the beach. The room was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with small details like a private room service cupboard that allowed food delivery without staff entering the room, something we had never experienced before and really appreciated.

The food was outstanding and unlike any resort experience we’ve had. Most dinners were multi-course tasting experiences that blended culture and creativity. The exclusive Casa de la Playa dining experience, including the cenote dinner, Mayan village dinner, and backstage experience, were especially memorable. Breakfast overlooking the ocean at Tuch de Luna became a daily highlight.

Access to the Xcaret parks added adventure and energy to the trip. At Xplor we drove amphibian vehicles through rugged terrain, completed the 11 zip lines, and swam in cenotes. Being able to experience parts of the parks both at night and again during the day made the stay feel immersive and unique.

One of the biggest advantages of Casa de la Playa is the level of VIP service. Through our private chat with our butlers, we could arrange private drivers at any time, making it effortless and very safe to move between parks, dinners, and activities. This level of convenience elevated the entire experience.

Several team members made our stay especially memorable. Our butlers Neftalí, Gabriela, and Francisco were attentive and genuinely cared about our experience, with Gabriela going above and beyond throughout the week. Miguel, along with Angelina and Felipe at the pool and rooftop areas, added a personal and welcoming touch to our daily experience and made us feel truly taken care of.

Our final evening coincided with the Super Bowl, and watching it from the rooftop pool bar with the ocean in the background — while enjoying multiple courses of themed food was a fun and memorable way to end the trip.

Overall, Casa de la Playa delivered an exceptional experience. The staff, food, parks, and seamless VIP touches made this one of the best vacations we’ve had, and we would absolutely recommend it to travellers looking for a higher-end, experience-focused resort.

Amazing resort. The rooms were incredible and there is so much attention to detail throughout the entire resort. The beach area and water were crystal clear, best water we’ve ever swam in in the Caribbean! I don’t see how anyone complains at this place. We never had a problem finding beach or pool chairs and there is ALWAYS someone ready to serve you a drink or food. The pools were perfect, the drinks were good and breakfast was amazing, the staff were amazing as well, especially our breakfast servers at Xal, Miguel, Carlos and Rene!
Xal dinner was our only complaint, it wasn’t good. We will absolutely return to this resort in the future!

My family and my brothers family recently stayed at La Casa de la Playa. It was very disappointing. The reviews were spectacular so we though it was going to be amazing. It started out great. The rooms were beautiful and Miguel at the roof top went above and beyond to bring delicious appetizers to us. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. We had six people (adults and 3 in their 20s) total and there was no seating at all for us to be together any of the days that we were there. There are only 6 lounge chairs on the beach. There is no pool, but lovely areas to sit and look over the ocean. There are maybe 20 places total to sit and many of them are two seater bed swings. This is a 5 star hotel and it was very disappointing to go to sunny beach destination and not be able to sit with our family and enjoy the sun. While our butlers were very nice, they were not able to help us. So, we went to the next door hotel to try to find chairs. Every day we had to go to a different (not 5 star hotel) so we can find a place to enjoy the beach and the sun and be together. It does not end there. Our travel agent made 1 reservation for a lovely Mexican Spectacular experience one night and told us that our butler would help us with dinner reservations for the other nights. On the day we arrived, we asked our butler to help us get dinner reservations. He said mostly everything was booked. One night, we all had to go to one of our rooms and ordered room service because there was not availability at the restaurants at La Casa de la Playa or any other Xcaret hotels. That is very disappointing to say the least. I can see how La Casa might be a great place for a couple but do not go there as a family. We paid a lot of money to go to this hotel and I would not recommend it for any party larger than 2.

It is hard to describe just how luxurious yet down to earth this magnificent property is. You will eat and drink like royalty, while enjoying relaxation at the pool and spa and casual serenity on the white sands fronting the ocean. The artwork is stunning. The 24 hour wine cellar, chocolate bar and tequila bar add to the one of a kind experience. The welcome gifts set the stage… and the amenities continue from there. You even have a mesmerizing jellyfish “window” in your suite.
You will feel welcomed and special.. never mind well fed!!
I must give special recognition to the PR manager Alan, bar manager Sergio, and butlers Neftali and Gabriela.

This hotel will change your perception of five star properties, amenities, and service. There are so many things to mention here. First off, the all inclusive amenity is unlike any other hotel, because every meal feels like a Michelin guide or star restaurant. Even room service is head and shoulders above many other five star hotels that are not all inclusive.

The rooms themselves are exquisite and an architectural gem in and of themselves. From the soaking tub with privacy and a view because it’s completely outside, to a hammock above the dipping pool on the deck, you could just stay all day in your room and be in pure bliss.

There is a jellyfish tank in the room which I loved, and was able to tour the jellyfish lab inside the hotel with the scientists who work there. It was fascinating! They take very good care of their animals there.

My favorite place in this property was the beach. The workers here do an immaculate job of removing all the seaweed. I spent hours just lying by the ocean and also in the crystal blue water on the private beach. The guy who serves food and drink on the beach is the best. He works so hard and always has a smile on his face while getting you and the other guests everything they ask for.

The layout of the hotel and size is done very well, because you barely see any guests while you’re here. I didn’t know I even needed that until I had it and I loved it. We went in July 2025.

My only drawback was that they had day pass guests that really like to party during some of the days we were there. All that means is you choose a different venue to hang out if they’re being roudy in the lobby floor bar and pool, for example.

Your booking gives you free access to all of the Xcaret Parks, but we didn’t partake in that because we just wanted to relax on the property.

Needless to say we can’t wait to be back. Thank you so much for an exceptional stay Casa De La Playa!

I want to start by saying that the facilities are beautiful, and the location is amazing. It's a quiet, luxurious spot located on a beach that is more remote than the surrounding Xcaret hotels. The bars were able to make almost any drink we wanted, and the public pool has a scenic extension with a stunning view of the nearby beaches and ocean. The restaurants on location were a little above average but nothing to write home about. Ha, however, was a delight. I can also say from my vast experience on this trip that every bathroom (public and our room) is spotless and clean.

The butlers were moderately helpful and told us they were unable to make some reservations. Despite this, my wife was able to take care of the brunch reservation herself on google. They were excellent at restocking the electrolyte drinks between my marathon toilet adventures.

Unfortunately, I caught a terrible case of traveler's diarrhea while here. I am unsure if it was the salad or the water, which were the only things I ingested before my week in the squatting position began. These things happen while traveling, and I was quick to chalk it up to bad luck. Once the staff heard I was sick, the water manager paid us a visit and explained that it couldn't be the fault of the water, as it has certificates. I found this a little odd, defensive, and rather vague. Either way, I recommend avoiding the tap water and any uncooked food if visiting.

I absolutely LOVE Xcaret. I come every year. This is my first time in La Casa De La Playa and it exceeded all expectations. Our suite was amazing, our butlers David and Kiyoshi were phenomenal! The attention to detail is outstanding. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special. Even though the resort was full you don’t notice. You feel like you are the only guest here. Every corner of this beautiful resort is a top world class experience. Definitely will be back!

An Unforgettable Stay in Paradise!

La Casa de la Playa is hands down one of the most breathtaking and unique hotels I've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning architectural details — every corner of the hotel feels like a work of art. The design perfectly blends modern luxury with natural elements, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere that instantly made us feel at peace.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Their attention to detail made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout our stay.

The pools were absolutely gorgeous — crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery and views that were simply unforgettable. Whether we were relaxing by the infinity pool or enjoying a sunset swim, every moment felt like something out of a dream.

The most exquisite, bespoke vacation. Casa offers an incredibly private and intimate experience, but you also have access to all of the dining, activities, and experiences of the other two hotels and the Xcaret Parks, not to mention the incredible private experiences exclusive to Casa guests. Butler service is attentive but laid back, truly barefoot luxury. You will want for nothing at Casa. Do it all or do nothing at all, either way it will be perfect. We have been 3 times, and are counting the days until we go back.

La Casa De La Playa is a paradise. It was even better than our first visit in Feb 2024! Our oceanfront suite (Room 1310) was amazing and exceeded expectations. Butlers Memo and Laura made sure our stay was memorable and extra special.

This time we skipped the La Casa Restaurants; room service was a perfect choice. We did enjoy the San Juan Mercado at the Xcaret Arte (daily), which has a ton of fresh and tasty options.

We loved their tequila selection at the La Casa self-serve tequila bar, too. The staff as a whole are very kind and helpful, we appreciated the Housekeeping staff, drivers and Lobby bar bartenders - amazing.

We’ll absolutely be back again next year and hope to make this a yearly tradition.

An Unforgettable Upgrade to a World-Class Experience

After spending one night at Hotel Xcaret México, we were unexpectedly upgraded to Casa de la Playa — which, as we later discovered, is ranked among the best hotels in the world. And honestly? That ranking feels completely justified.

From the moment we were picked up for the transfer, the experience was seamless and overwhelmingly exceptional. The welcome reception alone made us feel like we had stepped into a dream — and it only got better from there.

Service was beyond anything we’ve experienced before. Our butler was available 24/7, anticipating every need and recommending tours that ended up being unforgettable. Every request was met with a smile, and most were exceeded.

The design and art throughout the property are stunning, including original pieces even within the rooms. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, and the culinary experience was in a league of its own — from upscale restaurant offerings to the open, complimentary wine cava, a cantina with premium Mezcal and Tequila, and yes, a full-on Chocolatería where you can indulge in all things cacao. It’s like someone asked, “What if luxury was also delicious?”

This was more than a stay — it was an immersive, luxurious celebration of Mexican culture. It’s something you simply have to experience at least once in your life… though honestly, once won’t be enough.

Just got back from a 5 day trip. To preface this, I am no stranger to 5 star hotels around the world. Here are my thoughts:

The good:
Beautiful hotel. And the rooms are even more beautiful in person.
Great service. Everyone is friendly, speaks English, and will try to accommodate any random request you have (my sister kept asking them to make her fruit smoothies even though there were none on the menu).

The bad:
The food was the worst part of our experience and the reason for the 3 stars (a beautiful hotel alone is NOT enough to justify the nightly room rate). Every single thing on the menu was overly sauced or overly deconstructed. Imagine being in a beach environment and not being able to get a simple salad (only option is a *deconstructed* Caesar ) or a piece of grilled chicken or fish. I am not a picky eater, but holy moly I cannot believe all the good reviews about the food. When you order a something, it would be a crapshoot on what you actually received because everything was deconstructed or a play on words. If you enjoy clean, simple flavors where the ingredients shine, this is *not* the place for you.

The Vibe:
This is personal preference, but I felt that it was too quiet. The reason to stay at a resort is to be around other people (otherwise may as well get a beautiful airbnb at a fraction of the cost). But it’s a really small hotel (62 rooms I believe) and you will definitely see more staff than guests. Most of the guests are couples who don’t seem interested in making conversation (often even with each other, yikes). So there ends up being a lack of liveliness and energy. This could be exactly what are you looking for, however, just something to be aware of in case it isn’t.

Nice place, but at that crazy high price point, overall I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend.

I recently stayed at La Casa de la Playa, expecting the high standards of service and hospitality that a luxury property of this reputation should provide. While the facilities and dining experiences—particularly at Lumbre—were excellent, several service failures significantly impacted our stay.
Service Failures & Unprofessional Conduct:
1. Room Assignment Issue: Despite booking over a month in advance and requesting a specific ocean-view room, we were assigned a room (3405) that did not meet our request. Our request for a change was not accommodated satisfactorily.
2. Transportation Mishap: We were left waiting for over 30 minutes at a tourist site, despite confirming our pick-up time well in advance with our Butler. We have documented proof that the Butler and hotel driver were aware of the arrangement, yet no apology or corrective action was provided.
3. Unprofessional Behavior from Staff: After reporting the issue, the attitude of certain staff noticeably changed. The front desk, rather than maintaining professionalism, displayed indifference and engaged in whispered conversations about us in our presence. This was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
As guests traveling from Asia—one of us having flown over 20 hours specifically to stay at this property—we were disappointed by the treatment we received. We hope that our experience was not influenced by our nationality, as we believe all guests should be treated with equal professionalism and respect.
A hotel of this caliber should not only provide luxury accommodations but also consistently uphold high standards of service, accountability, and guest experience. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that. We hope management takes these issues seriously and implements necessary improvements to prevent future occurrences.

The good
-The location is quiet and has beautiful views. Both pool areas are beautiful and clean.
-The service by both pools is phenomenal. The waiters and waitresses in all restaurants are phenomenal.
-the rooms are kept clean and have beautiful views as well.

The bad
- we spent over 12k and never got one email besides our confirmation that we booked the hotel.Finally 5 days before the trip I had to reach out to them via Instagram to set up pick up at the airport.
-They provide you a butler which actually ends up being quite annoying. They put you in a WhatsApp group and you get texted 50 times a day. When you don’t reply the butler literally comes to find you.
We are there to be off our phones not on.
-the food is mediocre. It was the same as last year and none of the menus changed at all. They offer very weird stuff at the restaurants like ant eggs, and crickets. Also the steaks are terrible. For the price paid you should get waygu at minimum.
- The owner thinks it’s a good idea to let his family stay at the resort for free. All of a sudden there was a party of 15 who were extremely rude, wild, and treated the place like a dumpster. Completely ruined the calm vibe. Ps this happened last year and from what the staff said happens all the time.
- The spa is beautiful but the services are super expensive and not worth what you get.
- there was a very special full moon dinner that we were never even informed about. They don’t tell you any details about events ect. Considering I never got an email from them I wouldn’t know about it anyway. Of course it was fully booked and for some reason they let all people from the other resorts come to La casa de la playa. So much for being exclusive.

All in all we stayed twice and will not return for the price they charge. There are many other spots that actually make you feel like they want you there.

One of the best beaches, nicely designed resorts in the world! However, I lost my Burberry folding sunglasses which I had been having for a very long time! It’s sentimental. Also, one of the butlers, Neftali Gomez, made the whole journey stressful in the end when I was checking out of my room, he said even if I left my room five minutes later, they would charge me USD$300. Whole other staffs were all very nice and friendly! One person can ruin everything! Before this incident happened, I’d be very happy to give this resort a hundred percent five start rating!

We recently spent a long weekend at the hotel, and here's a breakdown of our experience at room #2405:

The Good:

The hotel boasts excellent restaurants and great bars.
They offer fancy transportation to any destination you wish.
The parks and pools are fantastic and enjoyable.

The Less Good:

After many hours of flying, we arrived at the hotel only to be given a dirty room that smelled of mold. It took two hours for them to find us another room.
The second room we were assigned, #2405, was notorious. It’s located under the pool machines, so we endured constant noise at 50-60 dB, which is far above the acceptable noise level of 35 dB for hotel rooms.
When we complained about the noise, the butler casually mentioned that this issue was well-known. They offered to turn off the machines if we wished to stay in the room, but every time we asked, the hotel manager insisted that there was no way to do so and that the machines wouldn’t be turned off.
On the last night, desperate from the ongoing issue, they finally offered to move us to another room. However, by then, we had already lost patience.
Conclusion: The price does not justify the quality of the rooms. We were deeply disappointed by our stay. The staff, including the butler and hotel manager, were unhelpful and dishonest, which added to the frustration. There are other hotels in the area at a similar price point or even cheaper that offer a far better experience.

Warning: Stay away from room #2405.

This is the best resort my wife has ever stayed at and one of the best for me. We loved how beautiful, peaceful, and quiet the resort was. Sometimes, it felt like we were the only guests there, so we had the entire hotel staff at our disposal.

We had a minor issue with our room experiencing a lot of noise coming from the room above us or The Sky Bar. But the hotel took care of it relatively quickly and switched us to a much quieter room.

We were very lucky to get Guillermo and Alberto as our butlers as they took care of all our needs.

Beautiful, adults only, all inclusive resort by the Xcaret group. We were impressed by so many things it's hard to capture it all in one review, but I'll try my best.

1) The resort

Gorgeous, unique architecture. Luxurious rooms that are tastefully decorated with locally made art pieces, top notch amenities and some really unique touches (jellyfish tanks!). There is a luxury chic aesthetic here which is yet somehow very homely and warm. The grounds are lush and serene. The main pool is stunning. All the common rooms (the wine cellar, library, bodega, chocolateria, lounge), are very modern, welcoming and cozy.

2) The food

This is where I will dock them a star. They have four restaurants, only two are open for breakfast and lunch. Lumbre and Centli are dinners only restaurants and open on alternate days in the same location. We were served some incredible meals at the Mexican-Peruvian focused Estero. Their lobster and grouper ceviche, and charred octopus were divine. Their drinks were fantastic. Their Mexican local dishes were also great. One night we had dinner at Lumbre, which prides itself on meats, we were shocked at how overcooked the pork and beef were. There was also no sense of food/wine pairings or balance. Whoever thought adding a heap of spicy roasted pork on king crab legs has never tasted the subtle beauty of unvarnished, untouched crab with just a hint of lime or butter. We tried several appetizers, entrees and desserts and all of the foods were mediocre. Brunch at Tuch de Luna was average too, nothing to write home about.

Overall, I would rank the cooking finesse at all restaurants as below the level of Four Seasons, or the Ritz but higher than what one would experience at a typical four star property. None are Michelin level.

3) The service

We were assigned two butlers that worked in shifts. Guillermo and Mariel. They were both very good, professional and on top of their game. The rest of the restaurant and spa staff were not as highly trained as our butlers and most spoke very little English. Now, I am aware that the Mexican staff's inability to speak fluent English is OUR shortcoming, not theirs. Everyone was sincere and earnest but getting things across was sometimes a challenge with the language barrier. They knew enough English to understand us for the most part. But it would have been a lot easier if a resort marketing itself to international tourists and claiming to be world class luxury destination also trained it's staff on English as well as the basics of hospitality and guest management etiquette.

4) The Experiences

These are what sets this resort a level above other all-inclusives or other five star luxury resorts. Being a guest at Casa De La Playa gives you free admission to every single Xcaret group park (and there are several of them within a 30 minutes drive). Not only that you are treated like a VIP allowing you to skip lines to go to the front, go to exclusive private dinners, private experiences or access to meals at restaurants within other Xcaret hotels. These are each wonderful experiences on their own, but combined together make your stay memorable and ultra value for your money.

Our guides - Beatrice, Gemali, Braunan, our two Shamans, Estrella, and many more staff (drivers David and others) were warm and friendly and quite personable.

5) In Conclusion -

This resort has almost all the elements locked down to make it the perfect luxury destination. If they could up their food game, and train their staff to the next level on hospitality, they would truly be a rare jewel. If anyone from management is reading this review, please know that this candid feedback is provided under the premise that every guest couple who drops minimum thousands on their trip is going to expect nothing but the absolute best. The Most Amazing Hotel Experience
We received an upgrade to this room from Hotel Xcaret Arte, and we were blown away by how beautiful the property is and how nice our room was and how amazing the views from the rooftop pool and the lobby pool. From the private vehicle transportation arrival to the gracious check-in and welcome drink to the amazing Oceanfront suite complete with outdoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi tub and outdoor daybed, the room had everything, even a jellyfish aquarium tank! The standard sweet here is like a presidential suite at other hotels. They provide a concierge in the butler for every room to take care of all your needs such as dinner reservations or arranging transportation to the Xcaret parks and shoes, and of course your return trip to the airport when your trip finally comes to a close. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service with delicious menu offerings above and beyond the Standard Hotel. We have a Michelin star restaurant on site as well as access to all of the other top rated restaurants at the different Xcaret properties. They also offer a 24-hour cocktail bar, a 24-hour chocolate and candy shop, and a 24-hour tequila tasting room and a winery. When you stay here, you'll never want to stay anywhere else.

From a savvy world traveler, I can say our stay at Casa De La Playa was our favorite vacation! It was so relaxing and invigorating at the same time. From zip lining through a ring of fire in the jungle at 11pm to room service delivered to our “ room locker”, no detail was missed. We could snorkel right off the beach, we had private transportation everywhere, food was outstanding, staff is very accommodating. Don’t hesitate! Oh, 24 hr access to the wine cellar is included!! The most beautiful place!!! Every detail is a work of art! The service is impeccable, Laura and Kiyoshi were amazing and on top of everything we could possibly want or need. Miguel and Kehzac at the wet bar pool were incredible, so many fun drink and food recommendations! The beach attendant (forgive me, I didn’t catch his name) was amazing, he saw me looking for shells and came over with a handful of the most beautiful shells! The food is fancy and more of an authentic Mexican, can customize whatever you want and great quality especially for an all inclusive resort! You also have access to all of the restaurants of the 2 other resorts! Highly recommend!!! Shuttle service to and from the airport was easy, private Tesla or GMC. Very quiet resort,

Impressive. This 2 year old resort was methodically thought out in every detail. From the design to the functionality. Each suite has its own heated pool. Jacuzzi separate out side areas, day bed. Jelly fish aquarium, Apple TV and more. The level of detail extends to every facet especially the staff. You will have your own butler to contact in WhatsApp 24/7 or the phone. The food is impeccable. Each restaurant is designed and run by a renowned chef. It’s obvious they hand pick employees who are dedicated. The spa is the top tier in the world. I compliment the entire team for creating and running this resort. Thank you and we will be back.

This hotel went from being our favorite place on earth to being a living nightmare. Everything has fallen apart. Service, environment, culinary. The management team is making terrible decisions and lying to their customers.

Association with Mexico Destination Club is the main problem. They are full of lies and dishonesty and are pushing a membership using false sales tactics. They will ruin what could be a truly great hotel.

It was a magical experience! Our first impression was WOW! And it was only the beginning. From beautiful architecture to the first class service, and the most delicious food we've ever had at an all-inclusive made our vacation simply the best. It is so well thought out! The design of our room was amazing and, the whole resort was impeccable.The pools were everything. We enjoyed every second of out 7 day trip! The beach was great and clean as well! It like heaven on earth. We have been to many great resorts all over. However, this one exceeded our expectations. We both agreed that we will be back here again and, again and, again and, again....... Special thanks to our amazing butlers: Massiel and David Vega. We can wait to see them again!

I have found this place through Amex Platinum and they were advertising as pet friendly. I had service dog so I thought this place would be wonderful before my dog gets any older pretty much it would be our last trip together because he is getting older: It’s been awhile I have visited Cancun since pandemic so I was pretty thrilled. We got picked up by special private suburban suv with wifi. It took us about 45 mins to arrived.

When we arrived we were greeted with cold wet towels and signature welcome drinks “flamingo” it was pink drink with no alcohol and became our most favorite. (You can add alcohol)
They make you sit down during check in service which is very convenient. Place was very grand with beautiful view with ocean breeze, furniture pieces were so artistic I wanted to purchase them all.

SERVICE Pet owners - They do charge $150 so note that. But they do bring your dogs bed; collar and water bowl during stay.
It’s a one time welcome fee and including cleaning fee for your dogs. Front desk didn’t explained to me clearly I didn’t know until manager Erick explained that it’s an only one time charge so I felt more clear about the fee.
They do make you sign three long pages regarding your dog. It states that they don’t let you to take your dogs/ pet to most places.
Places you can allow would be stopping at the lobby bar, walking around and beaches anywhere food is around. Which I understand.
Workers here pet friendly.

I’m a spa person. This is not a place for party people. I see more older generations who wants to relax and enjoy the nature.
They do have sister hotels where you can go and party and explore different foods.

3 restaurants but I enjoyed it. Estero is my favorite over all.

Spa here beautiful, once you book spa services here they will take you to go do dry, steam and water jets to prepare your body before a body service. It was very cool experience.
I would say spa price is little too high but they do use high quality products. Such as natura bisse line. During facial they use their vitamin C line. They used lots of products. It might cause irritation if you have sensitive skin, because their product contains high ingredients. I personally had been using Diamond line back home but it’s not for everyone. Honest opinion, I personally enjoyed body massage more than facial due to heavy touch. Different from hotel/spa European experience. Again, everyone has different opinions so you can be the judge.
Body massage and facial coated about $1000 they do ask you to tip before your service.

I spent some time here and I spoke to few workers they mostly make about $100usd every 15 days -live off tips) - please tip them even a little bit. I know there’s a lot.. but individuals workers such as house keeping..
they clean your room twice a day.
I have noticed, morning cleaning happens they open the mirror vanity behind the bed, evening cleaning they close it for you with daily gifts and candy.

Just aware everything is included but spa,
Wine tasting $45 per - person, gift shops eemergency meds additional, just little things can be extra charged.
Please don’t loose your bracelet. It’s $150. much it would be.

24/7 room service yes! But your butlers - (each room gets two butlers commute by alternating shifts) they are not 24/7. They do have after hour service available by a front desk; or faster service such as room service contact front desk by calling 0 in your room phone.

Just aware not many of them speaks perfect English. Which is fine, but some don’t even understand do opposite instead of what you have asked for. Such as: no salt - they add more salt. Yes alcohol but they don’t put alcohol. So be patient with them just re- order if that cases. They will get it right most of times.

Okay, so Amex travel has to be more details. Not all rooms comes with steam room. You need to go to wellness rooms which is other building to get steam rooms.

This place is like adult Disney. Workers are always greeting saying hola. I’ll try again in the future when I visit Cancun.

Amazing Experience! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Everything is luxury, our room is so beautiful, everything is perfect. The cuisine is out of this World, the service is more than excellent, private, secluded and romantic ambiance. And then you have VIP access to all the Xcaret parks with a guide and fast pass. I couldn’t ask for anything else. I’m in love with this place and I can’t wait to come back.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Best vacation we have ever had. The staff is truly exceptional and spoil you every waking moment. The food is to die for and never had a bad meal. I have stayed at other high end all inclusive resorts and they do not come close to the how wonderful CDLP. I literally cried when we had to leave. We can’t wait to go back! Our butler Libertad was AMAZING and went out of her way to spoil us! She made this a trip of a lifetime. Iris at the spa gave the best massage and found us by the pool to give us a neck massage. How can you top that? Our waiter Alejandro, Agustin, and Cynthia were all incredible! Sabastian was the best driver to take us to the park and airport. He made us feel so welcome. Do not miss out on this place! It’s well worth the money!
