This place was absolutely wonderful, and the children loved it even more.

The fact that there were fewer activities compared to other places was actually a huge advantage. My daughter said that while other places feel rushed and overwhelming, this spot allowed her to experience comfort, fun, and thrills all at once.

Our family especially loved lying on the water and floating slowly. After a trip filled with tightly scheduled, high-pace activities, this one was a much-needed moment of calm, earning the word "slow" to describe the peaceful feeling it brought.

It was truly a fantastic place, and we highly recommend it!
I just LOVED this park. I enjoyed it to the fullest! All the activities, the little details, how well they show you or encapsulate what Mexico as a country is. Is just beautiful. The show is next level.
Even if you only came to playa del carmen to come to this park. Is money well spent.

I visited 3 of these parks, they’re were all worth it, to the fullest.

Looking forward to come back

I visited Xenses with my mom yesterday, and we had a great time! The park is such a fun and unique experience — it really encourages you to explore, get out of your comfort zone, and use all your senses. Each activity is different, and it's amazing how much thought went into the design of each space.

My favorite part was the old town/village section, where it felt like everything was tilted. It was kind of hard to keep your balance, but that made it even more fun! It really messed with your sense of direction in the best way.

One thing to keep in mind: many of the activities require you to go barefoot, which is part of the experience. It’s all about feeling different textures and environments. I enjoyed that part, but it might not be ideal for everyone. My mom, who’s older, chose to skip a few of the activities, but there was still plenty for her to enjoy.

Overall, it was a beautiful day, and we both left with smiles on our faces. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something different and interactive!

One of the most unique park we have visited. Everything is so unique and fun. Most reviews say it is half day park but we actually spent close to 6 hours. We are a family of 4 and we did thr whole park at a steady pace. Got to so the bird flight 3 times with no wait time. A must do at Rivera Maya. Must try the fresh cold lemonade.

We visited Xenses by Xcaret and overall, it was such a fun and unique park — my whole family loved it. There’s so much to do, from ziplines and mud baths to river floats and even a cenote waterslide — all of that was amazing.

BUT I have to give a serious warning about one part: the very first “activity” you go through — the pitch-black tunnels or caves. That part was honestly traumatizing. It’s about 10 minutes of walking in complete darkness, alone, with weird textures and sounds. My sister and I were lucky to be next to each other, but we were screaming each other’s names just to stay calm. My boyfriend couldn’t even last 10 seconds before turning around and walking out. It felt like being stuck in a horror movie or some strange out-of-body experience — I would not recommend it at all.

Besides that, everything else in the park was beautiful and super fun. Just skip the tunnel if you’re even a little bit claustrophobic or anxious in the dark. The rest of the park really is worth it!

A must visit theme park in Mexico. The whole park plays tricks with your senses and illusion. The upside town is the highlight because you think you are going up but you are actually going down. The water features are great and the different illusions are brilliant.

It's very cool for adults. Loads of photo opportunities. There are places you absolutely can't take your camera, like the mud bath, waterside and the bird experience zip line.
Worth the money for sure!

Xenses Park was a great adventure for me and my 5yo and 3yo kids. This is at most 4hr park if you do everything they have to offer. It's really a great park to explore all the human senses. I greatly recommend this park.
There are few activities, there is no buffet like in the other parks. The cost is higher than what it offers

I was a bit skeptical about this place, but it exceeded my expectations!
It's a very weird amusement park, but it's amazing to visit for kids and adults alike.
Pueblo messes with your mind.
Xenses is a must if you've already been in Xcaret or Xel'ha.
If your kid is under 120cm than some of the attractions are off limits.

Save your money and go to Xplor instead. While the town area of the park is really impressive, the value just isn’t there.

Xsenses is a fairly small park and can be done in just a few hours. This park also doesn’t include food unlike Xplor. The food the park does offer is extremely expensive and frankly inedible. Even the snacks were stale.

Taking food prices into account, Xplor and Xsenses end up costing roughly the same. But Xplor has has far more to offer imo. Zip lines, water slides, and the atv is far more impressive than anything Xsenses has to offer. At current prices, it’s hard for me to recommend this park.

This park is awesome. We came here during a cruise with a stop in Mexico. We had never been to a sensory park and were not disappointed! If you like photo opportunities then this park is the place to be! There were so many cool art style peices and experiences and over 100 great photo opportunities. They give you a wrist band if you decide to do photos that you press against the photo areas to get a picture while you are experiencing the park. Typically I don’t like buying photos because you end up paying so much for like 4 usable photos. But with the system they have in place you get as many photos as you want using your wristband for like half that of other tourist attractions.

Ever since I saw the videos of the water flowing uphill I wanted to see it for myself. What an experience. Not many attractions to do but the few they have are exciting. Be prepared for the very first one which is the caves. One person per cave and believe me they are pitch dark. Btw you will not wear shoes in there at all. It's kind of creepy and spooky but cool at the same time. All you have is your senses for it. If you are scared of the dark don't even bother but if you're OK with the darkness then go for it. The other 6 wet rides are cool as well. Trust me you will not regret it. Have fun with your Xenses.

They do not follow up in a timely manner on reports of lost objects, and due to their internal policies they are discarded and they give bad or incomplete information about it via telephone or at counters. So if you forget something, rest assured that you will not get it back, in my case it was a swimsuit in the locker room, and they are thrown away 24 hours later. I was following up and they misinformed me, telling me that the next day the park did not open on Sunday, and when I went to the park two days later they told me that it did open and they were not even aware of my report until I insisted that they gave me a sheet of information. telephone follow-up, even so I did not recover the item because they claim that some tourist then took it since Xcaret assures that its collaborators "deliver forgotten things", but if you lose an For sure they are going to charge you!!!

This place is not a natural occurrence it is a completely man-made dissection of the natural land. The staff do not care about safety protocols or dangerous parts of the park that are easily accessible and can lead to serious injury.

This place was the most amazing thing that we did on the trip, make sure you have the guts to do all the activities, many phobias will be shown and you have the opportunity to overcome them:

* Acrophobia ✅
* Claustrophobia ✅
* Nyctophobia ✅

You will fly, cross a dark cave with many environments, slide at high speed, and you will lost your mind on a inverse town.

Prices are around $100 USD, but If you have dollars I suggest to use them, as the change rate is high when you pay using USD.

The only thing to improve on this place is the food, it was not the best.

This park will help you enjoy and/or mess with your senses. Inside the main building, there are mirrors, camera shots with abnormal perspectives, and other sense-based puzzles and activities.

There's a "pueblo" side that takes you to several activities, including a tall spiral water slide, a "fly like a bird" experience, relaxation experiences, and more. The pueblo path is trippy, but saying more here might give away too much.

There's another side that has more play with perspectives, and helps you appreciate each of your senses more. Again, I don't want to say too much, as it's better to go in not knowing.

They check with you regarding your medical fitness before allowing you to do things that could be problematic.

You do need to make a reservation, but it's for a large window, something like "arrive sometime between 1 pm and 4:30 pm".

This place was SO COOL! My husband and I had a blast and have been telling everyone about it. It is so well done! The details are incredible. All instructions are translated to English which we appreciated.

It’s hard to pick a favorite part…so much was unexpected! We loved the bird flight and mud river. We also LOVED the pitch black path you walk through using all your senses besides sight, it was honestly spiritual.

Please go here! I think this place is perfect for adults and older kids!

I honestly didn’t want to post too many pictures because I want people to experience it for themselves. I came here as part of a cruise excursion. It was a lot of fun. Staff was very helpful. Cost of an admission is pretty normal for a tourist attraction. You can easily spend 3-5 hours here. I recommend buying the unlimited pictures package, it’s worth it and the pictures turn out well. Also as a tip buy a waterproof case for your phone.

Impressive, a real blast for your senses. It was better than expected, the pitch black tunnel is so good, makes your brain work expanding your other senses to "see" your surroundings. Also the "pueblo chueco" is very very fun! There are a lot of other "experiences" along the park... I was drinking water from a toilet! 😂😂😂
